City Attractions
Aberdeen is not only placed in a picturesque corner of Scotland, it also continues to thrive as a city, flourishing for several decades as the "Oil Capital of Europe". As such, it can offer both long and short term visitors a host of attractions. These include many fine restaurants such as The OliveTree and Black Olive Brasserie on Queens Road just a short walk from your apartment.
If culture is your thing, then you must visit the Aberdeen Art Gallery, and the Maritime Museum which celebrates Aberdeen's proud shipbuilding heritage. His Majesty's Theatre regularly welcomes the top shows as well as ballet and opera. For those who prefer their entertainment on the widescreen, there are three multiplexes on Ship Row, Queens Links and Union Square.
Union Street, right at the heart of the city, has a wealth of shopping experiences, and is complemented by shopping centres close by such as Bon Accord and the stunning new development at Union Square...a shopaholics dream!
