Shopping in the Capital
Edinburgh is a shoppers dream. If you enjoy the buzz of the city centre then take a stroll down Princes Street which has many of the top high street names, as well as the renowned "Jenners" store. If top designers are your preference, just drop behind Princes Street onto George Street for a plethora of designer stores, along with some of the finest restaurants in the city. If you need to take some time out from carrying those heavy shopping bags, you can cross the road to the picturesque Princes Street Gardens, and enjoy a spectacular view of the castle
Alternatively, Edinburgh can also offer "out of town" shopping centres and parks with ample free parking, such as Ocean Terminal in Leith, just a 10 minute bus or taxi ride from the apartments, and Fort Kinnaird. Again, here you will find the major high street names as well as places to eat, or just relax over a coffee.
